Air Raid, not to be confused with Air Raiders or River Raid, is considered to be the rarest game released for the Atari 2600. It was the only game released by MenAvision and had an extremely limited distribuition. Its cartridge is a blue T-handle design with a picture of flying saucers attacking a futuristic city. It is not uncommon for the game to sell in the thousands of dollars when listed on eBay.

And now it's Area 51, the secretive government base in that legend says houses extraterrestrials and alien artifacts. A Facebook group dedicated to storming Area 51 on September 20 has almost 2 million people agreeing to meet in the Nevada desert and raid the military base, which has sparked an endless stream of Area 51 memes in the past few days.
Reddit user PixelArtAddicted got in on the Area 51 craze by combining the idea with a scene from Mortal Kombat 11, calling it 'The Great NetherRealm Studios/Area 51 Raid.' The video labels some Outworld monsters as alien prison guards who rush to fight off the Area 51 raiders, which are comprised of various characters from Mortal Kombat 11.
In the video, a ship carrying 500,000 'meme lords' crashes on shore, with the first wave of attackers being 'weebs and nine year olds.' The action in the video is set to 'Fortunate Son' by Creedence Clearwater Revival, a song that is often used in films about war, particularly the Vietnam War.

NetherRealm decided to give Mileena's sister Kitana some of her moves, which only upset fans further. The final person who is helping to storm Area 51/NetherRealm Studios is 'the one guy wanting Mokap DLC.' Mokap, for the uninitiated, was a secret character in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance who is literally a motion capture actor. Mokap appeared in a few Mortal Kombat games after his Deadly Alliance debut, but hasn't been seen since NetherRealm rebooted the franchise with 2011's Mortal Kombat.
The Internet will undoubtedly move on to some other meme eventually, but it's safe to say that there will be plenty more Area 51 memes in the weeks leading up to the supposed Area 51 raid date of September 20.
